Very Basic-Beginner Tutorial. Based on some questions a friend had as he is starting with 3DS. This covers as much as I could think of about Backgrounds in renders, and safe frames, for the beginner. Questions or comments as usual, direct them to my 2 lines, fudge_sicle@hotmail.com or crimson_designs@rogers.com

Well this tutorial is a very basic one, it was not one that I intended to write however trying to teach someone 3ds max when they have no current knowledge of the program is very hard to do over msn.
The only one that I wrote on a topic which many do not and I know very well is the ray trace materials. However I have found that my other tutorials help you take the first step into 3ds Max and I believe they also help to lead into the more advanced tutorials by myself and others.
