Crimson Flat Panel 17"LCDby ~Crimson-Designs

This is the final product of my recent LCD Flat Panel Monitor. This is the 17" version. The model is actually to lifesize scale as it has the same screen dimensions as any other 17" monitor. This is a custom design which is loosly based on many different designs by Sony, Samsung, KDS, and others. Other colours available are: Any!
If you want a copy at any res gimme a shout. This was rendered at 300dpi at 1600x1200. Took about 45 minutes to render.

Time to model: about 3 hours. Accumulated between design, sketch and experimentation with several ideas. Spent about an hour working on ideas that never made it to the final copy. They were either scrapped because they looked like ass or they looked like as and I just undid it

Yeah I am going to update it as a .png Because I am rendering at 300DPI now I have noticed that .jpg's look like shit. I will note when I have the png up!

Yeah the gradients really look screwed. But I love the monitors. Are they the same ones as you ahd in the previous render?

Not that i could do better, just soem points.

- The black button really stands out. And since the monitor is on it should probably be green?

- And i know it was probably the idea, coz otherwise it wouldn't be much of a design, but the Besels are way too big. Coz if you want to use a dual monitor system it'll be pretty annoying.

Other iwse nice work. You've inspired me to make my own monitor.

Oh yeah abotu print accounts. Once you got one, do you pay mroe if you have more submissions?

No you don't pay more for having prints. You pay the one time fee for the prints acount and then you make 50% of all profit from your works.

No this is not the same model from the previous entry. This is a complete custom as stated in the description.

Umm yeah I know that in most monitors the buttons are green when the monitor is on/being used however for a more custom and original look I stuck with a red LED.

About the besels(spelling?) I am planning on doing a dual and triple monitor version they will all be custom designs again however stick to the same concept as this one. Besels will be smaller on those target specific monitors.

Anyway thanks for the answer. And If I didn't mention it before. I really like the stand. Like it's a good idea, coz my monitor is just stuck there, i can only tilt it up and down.
